Sadie has her Championship

 

 

 

Sunday October 31 I took 3 of the pooches ( Kramer, Sadie and Emma) to the Trillium dog show in Lindsay. Sadie took winners bith and finished her CH. It was a long time coming as I only showed sadie a handful of times and she won her classes almost every time. She was only beat in the ring by her daughter Emma and I think once by Heidi. She has won over CH males and been in some big classes earning her 3 points at a time. But having puppies would keep her out of the ring for several months at a time. I am happy to say she is now Champion Heronviews Dirty Dancer. But she has always been a Champion in my heart

Kramers Birthday was on Saturday October 30th. I could not take pictures because my camera died and I could not find my battery charger. I had my friend take pictures on Sunday of Kramer. Only got a couple but he is such a sweet handsome boy

Kramer passed his Canine good neighbor test on Sunday. Not that I was surprised as he is such a mellow wonderful Leonberger. So now he can sport the title CGN after his name. What a guy. Handsome and sweet! What mroe can you ask for.

He did this at the Leonberger Club of Canada fun day ( leopalooza) I will send some more pictures from the day later. What a blast 40 leos playing together !

Leopalooza - Leonberger Club of Canada Funday

This Sunday (September 12th) Is our annual leo fun day. The dogs and people have a blast. I wanted to post it on my blog incase you are interested in attending. There will be around 30 leonbergers there. Which is so much fun. We have a potluck lunch and a silent auction
If you are interested in getting a CGN on your dog then please let me know as we will be having evaluations at the event. Plus carting demonstrations. It is a great day and I hope to hear from some of you that you can make it

Kawartha Kennel club show

 

 

 

 

On July 5th I took the dogs to the Peterborough dog show. It was damn hot too. 40 degrees out. I was going to cancel but we were in at 10:30 am so though we could deal with it. Then afterwards I knew we would take them to the lake swimming. It is their reward for having to be clean and pretty lol. All my hours of grooming gone within 1/2 hr of showing :-) But then they are happy dogs again.

Emma went BOB but because she is already a Champion the points are given to the best dog in the regular classes. Heidi had those honors and went Best of winners for a 2 point win ! A great day but the last show for us until the fall. I dont think it is fun for the dogs to have to show in the heat. We would rather swim and camp in the summer

Leonberger club of Canada Booster

 

 

 

Yes I know I have gotten a little :-) beind on blogging. We do not do a lot of shows because of my raw food store. lus I dont like to make the dogs show in the heat of the summer. One June 13th the LCC had their booster at the Orono dog show. We had 12 Leonbergers entered and several more people came with their pooches to cheer us on.
The LCO had their booster the day before on Saturday and Heronviews Canadian Beau was BOW and got enough points to finish his LCA championship !! Congratulations to Linda who came all the way from Illinois to show .

Sunday was another great day for the Heronview gang. Darcy who is a 3 year old son of Sadie was Best of Breed for the second year in a row !! Sadies 19 month old daughter Emma was Best of opposite Meaning she was the best of the females. Plus Emma got her Canadian Championship at this show. I am so proud of my pups they did so well. A few random shots from yesterday. As you can see Heidi is enjoying their new pool. She is also having a staredown with Sushi. As usual Sushi knows she will win lol

Kramer is chilling out after his playtime in the pool and enjoying a nice snack of alpaca poo. Yum !! I spent some time with the donkeys laying in the field with them. Kira loves to snuggle and my dog hating donkeys ( so I'm told ) seems to like Sadie. All my animals intermingle and get along. The dogs and donkeys and horses,alpacas ducks and cats. No issues with any of them. I love that I lay in a field and will have dogs and Alpacas and donkeys surrounding me

Some people

I hate writing this but seeing as certain people on this planet have nothing better to do then try and hurt other people I have to .

There are 3 woman who for whatever reason have a problem. I am not going to say with me because I have nothing to do with them just that we have the same breed of dogs. They are sending around a letter with 1/2 truths and outright slander. I will be addressing this with the CKC and legally

I am not sure whether I should be concerned or flattered that they have felt it necassary to keep and find information about me that spans about 10 years. From twisting my methods for helping someone to accusing me of stealing money !! If anyone sees this letter and has any questions please contact me. I have nothing to hide and honestly no time in my life ( anyone who follows my blog with know that ) To bother anyone else or for that matter have time for all the injustices I am accused of :-) So although I will not be replying to the BS letters I want anyone to know nothing is off topic to write to me about
